    My wife and I are arriving in late Sept. for our 40th. wedding aniv. And I made dinner reservations at 4 sig. restaurants. When making the reservations they asked if a special occasion....my question is.....does the restaurant do something special for us?

    Congratulations on your upcoming 40th wedding anniversary. As you know, Walt Disney World is a wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion.

    Your choice to dine at four signature restaurants will truly make for a memorable vacation. When noting a special occasion on your dining (or even hotel) reservations, it allows the Cast Members the opportunity to spread some extra pixie dust. While this is not guaranteed, you may receive a free dessert, a complimentary champagne bottle, or other small tokens of congratulations.

    In the past, our family has received a cupcake for a birthday, champagne and/or a rose for an anniversary, and also a balloon bouquet.

    One wonderful idea is to surprise your loved one with a custom cake. See this idea and other splurges at the link provided.
