My wife and I have arranged to depart Feb. 28th after 2 weeks , but Disney's newsletter notified us that they will be open 24 hours on the 29th. I'd like to know if any special entertainment is planned tor the 29th that we wouldn't see any prior day.

    Hi Rachel!

Two weeks at Walt Disney World???  Now that sounds like a vacation!  On February 29, 2012, the Magic Kingdom will be open for 24 hours of pure magic!  One More Disney Day, as it is officially known, is in celebration of the leap year.  Beginning at 6:00 AM on February 29th, guests can make as many memories as they possibly can for a whopping 24 hours straight!

As far as I know, there won't be any special entertainment that is geared specifically for the occasion.  However, as part of the celebration, you may register to win a 5 night/4 day vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!  Aptly named, the One More Disney Day Sweepstakes, a vacation will be given away every day from now through February 29th!  Woo Hoo!

    Much pixie dust,
