Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Joseph. Thanks for dropping by with your question.
Your trip to the
most magical place on earth is right around the corner. I hope you are getting so excited. As a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder myself, I know just what special gate you are talking about. While I don't think anyone would stop you necessarily, those specific entrance areas are intended for those Guests who are Walt Disney World Annual Passholders. It's a little perk that makes the line go just a little bit faster on those crowded mornings. Most of us have entered the
Walt Disney World Theme Parks numerous times and typically, will have our tickets and fingers out ready for scanning which makes the line move pretty quickly.
Instead, to keep your party together, I'd suggest just going through the regular turnstiles with your family. There are plenty to choose from and the lines will move rather quickly. The experience is the exact same other than there isn't a little sign overhead that says Passholder Entrance. Being a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder, the Mickey icon will light up a little bit different for you and your wife which is pretty cool but other than that there is no difference. This way you can all stay together with no problem.
I hope that you and your extended family have a wonderful time at Walt Disney World. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Have fun!
Jackie H.
