My wife and I along with our 5 year old daughter are planning a trip to Disney World the week of Thanksgiving 2011. What can we expect the crowd situation to be?

Hi Jeff!  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  I've been to Disney World during Thanksgiving week....it's very crowded.

Typically, from the Thursday before Thanksgiving to the Sunday after Thanksgiving the Parks are packed because the weather is very nice and children are out of school and on vacation.

If you're still thinking about your dates, the week after Thanksgiving and the first week of December are usually fantastic.  Kids are back to school and won't be out again until the third week of the month.

Whatever you decide to do, please make your dining reservations BEFORE you get there.  You can call (407) WDW-DINE to do this.  They will take reservations up to 180 days prior to your visit.

No matter what time you choose, you and your family are in for a magical time!  Enjoy!
