My wife and I both have accounts. The hotel res is in her account and she added me as a family member but no reservations show up when I sign in?

Hi there, Jeff! Welcome to planDisney!

You're going to Walt Disney World! Woohoo! Since your Disney Resort Hotel is booked and you and your wife are linked via your Family and Friends Lists, it sounds like your planning is off to a practically perfect start. It's less than magical to hear that you've had a little snag when trying to view your Resort reservation on your My Disney Experience account, but I'm more than happy to get you right back on track.

First, check that your correct My Disney Experience account is linked to your wife's Family and Friends List. Sometimes, guests may have an old account that accidentally gets linked, and if that's the case, you won't be able to see your shared plans on your current account. The easiest way to do this, in my opinion, is to edit your My Disney Experience Profile to include your favorite Disney character. Then, have your wife check your name on her Family and Friends List to ensure your character is listed next to your name.

If your account is properly linked, I suspect you may not be properly listed as a guest on the Resort reservation. To check this, have your wife log into her My Disney Experience account and scroll down to the Resort reservation under her "Plans, Reservations and Tickets." Here, you can see the guests listed on the reservation, so make sure that your proper account name and Disney character are listed here. If not, I would try to change the guest listed on the reservation by clicking the "Change Reservation" button and then selecting your proper account name.

If you and your wife's accounts are linked, your account name is listed as a guest on the reservation and you still don't see your pixie-dusted plans, I suggest calling a helpful Cast Member with Disney Resort Hotel Reservations for assistance. They will be able to work some magic for you, for sure. There is nothing more exciting than logging into your My Disney Experience account and seeing an upcoming magical adventure at the Most Magical Place on Earth. Happy planning!

Jeff, if I have your arrival date correct, it looks like you and your wife will be catching the tail end of the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts! This is my very favorite EPCOT fest. With the incredible food and drinks that are as beautiful as they are delicious, the electric entertainment, the amazing artists and the chance to create and even become the art, this festival is not to be missed! Enjoy!

I hope this was helpful, Jeff, and I hope you and your wife have the most magical and memorable time! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have.

Paint with all the colors of the wind,
