Hi Dan! Welcome to planDisney.
As my pal Mickey Mouse would say: “oh boy!” I’m sure your wife felt just like Sadness from Inside Out when she realized she had accidentally cancelled your reservations. I know I would be lying on the floor crying just like Sadness - so please give her a big hug from me. Hopefully we can turn this core memory back to a “Joy” memory with some easy steps. Let’s get started.
If you’re talking about a Walt Disney World Resort hotel or
vacation package reservation, there’s a very easy fix. All you need to do is to log in to the
My Disney Experience mobile app, tap “My Plans” and then “Link to Account.” You can then enter the reservation number and your last name once more, and the system should accept it. In this situation, the reservation itself isn’t cancelled, it’s just removed from the app, and so it should be easy to re-link and see our plans again.
If you’re talking about a
Disney Park Pass reservation, this is a bit trickier. If she accidentally cancelled Disney Park Pass reservations, your best bet is to
call the My Disney Experience Help Desk Cast Members at (407) 939-4357. They may be able to see the deleted reservations and assist you, but there are no guarantees, as once Disney Park Pass reservations are cancelled they go back into the pool of available reservations, and may be snatched up by other Guests.
Because the theme parks are operating at reduced capacity, if the park you cancelled has reached its allotment of reservations, there may not be any additional spots available. Be prepared that the Cast Member you speak with may advise you to continue checking
Disney Park Pass availability to see if any openings appear. I checked the online calendar for your visit time, and I do see some theme parks available (though this is subject to change), so hopefully you will be able to secure new reservations if the old ones cannot be reinstated.
Thank you for stopping by planDisney, Dan. I hope the Cast member you speak with can resolve your question with a quick “bibbidi bobbidi boo” – but if not, please be flexible and persevere! I recently had to change my June plans at the last minute, and was able to recreate my plans pretty closely by refreshing the webpage and checking at different times of day. I’m sending pixie-dusted wishes that you’re back to focusing on the joy of your June vacation very soon!
Wishing you a great big beautiful tomorrow,
Robyn
