Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Brandon!
I am happy to tell you that there is a service at Walt Disney World Resort that allows caregivers to switch out looking after the kids and riding attractions.
Rider Switch is great for families like yours who have little ones who aren't quite tall enough to ride some of the more thrilling attractions, so let's chat a little bit about how it works!
There are attractions that participate in Rider Switch at each of the four theme parks, so if you and your older kids want to ride something that has a height requirement, like
Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at
Disney's Hollywood Studios, you can approach the podium at the attraction and let a Cast Member know that you'd like to participate in Rider Switch. One adult and any older kids who want to ride will wait in the line while another adult taps their
MagicBand or admission card to receive a Rider Switch return time, and they'll be able to do some fun stuff with the younger kiddos like grab a snack or go see the
Disney Junior Dance Party! When the first group is finished riding, the second adult can tap their MagicBand and use their Rider Switch entitlement to enter the attraction through the
FastPass+ queue. Here's the part your older kids are going to love: the Rider Switch return time is good for up to three guests so they're able to ride twice, once with each parent, if they want to! Your Rider Switch entitlement is fully digital and will pop up in your daily plans in the
My Disney Experience app, so make sure to download it before you leave for your holiday.
I hope this answers your question, Brandon, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
