why do WDW reservations and DCL reservations not interact with each other, if I bookes a WDWresort thru DCL I can't call WDW about park ticket for that reservation? what's up with that..

    Hi, Forrest!

Since Walt Disney World (WDW) and Disney Cruise Line (DCL) are two t-totally separate entities, each have their own separate operating systems for guest reservations. However, I've never experienced a problem purchasing individual components of my vacations from various sources.  In fact, I usually come out better that way.  You can add on a hotel stay at a WDW resort through DCL, purchase tickets from WDW and book your air and ground transportation independently.  You may experience a little inflexibility if you try to book a package (hotel + tickets) through one source -- including a third-party provider such as a travel agent.  They all have stipulations on package purchases.

Let me know if I can answer more specific questions for you, but hopefully, this helps clear up any confusion you have with this. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
