Ahoy, Mahima!
Welcome aboard planDisney! I’m sorry to hear you’re having a little Stitch moment and can’t quite figure out how to pick the perfect stateroom for your sailing. Let’s see if we can untangle this little booking mystery!
I hopped onto the Disney Cruise Line website and believe I found the sailing you’re looking to book for November 12, 2026, aboard the Disney Adventure. If I’ve got the right sailing, the good news is that I do see quite a bit of availability in the different stateroom categories, so you should be able to choose a specific stateroom.
I can’t see exactly what you’re seeing on your screen, but I think I may know what’s happening. You may have selected a “
Guaranteed with Restrictions” stateroom. With these bookings, you select the stateroom category, but Disney selects the specific stateroom for you. They’re often associated with special offers, and you’ll usually see a green tag with a star in the middle next to the price to indicate the special deal. You may also see wording such as “Guaranteed Verandah Stateroom with Restrictions.”
If that’s what you’re seeing and you have your heart set on a particular room, try scrolling down the page to the “Standard Fare” section. Those options should allow you to select the specific stateroom you want. Just keep in mind that these will likely cost a little more than the Guaranteed with Restrictions option, which is essentially letting Mickey handle the room assignment for you.
Personally, I completely understand wanting to pick the exact room. There can be a big difference between finding a stateroom you really like and letting fate decide where you end up, especially when you’ve already started mentally unpacking before you’ve even finished the reservation!
If you’re still not seeing the option to choose your room after checking the Standard Fare section, I recommend
giving Disney Cruise Line a call. A friendly Cast Member can take a live look at the reservation system and help you see what options are currently available so you can get your perfect sailing, and hopefully the perfect stateroom, booked.
I hope this helps you solve the mystery and puts you one step closer to finding your own little corner of the
Disney Adventure. After all, Stitch may be perfectly happy with a little chaos, but when I’m booking a cruise, I’d much rather know exactly where my vacation home at sea is going to be!
Sea ya real soon as summer waves goodbye and autumn magic begins to shine,
Dustin
