Why does it say that I have reserved a different day on the disneyland app than the website. For example, it says 17th July on the disneyland app and 18th July on the website. What should I go for?

    Hi there, Mohammed,

Hmm. This appears to be an unexpected time-traveling phenomenon. Perhaps we need the help of a Space Ranger to get this sorted out. But if Star Command doesn't have the personnel to spare, maybe I can offer some thoughts. My family once missed a reservation due to misunderstanding the date. So I understand the importance of getting this right, especially since the number of theme park reservations is limited.

The main possibility that comes to my mind is the time zone difference between your location and the Disneyland Resort. So if you have a park reservation booked for July 17th based on the Disneyland Resort hours in the Pacific time zone, I wonder if a computer set to your local time zone might display the reservation as if it were on July 18th, especially if you happen to be looking at it during an hour of the day when your local time is already on a different day than the current day at the Disneyland Resort. It might be worth checking the park reservations status again during a time of day when you know that both your local time zone and the Pacific time zone are on the same date.

I also recommend checking your reservations using different devices or different web browsers. And don’t forget to make sure you are using the latest version of the Disneyland mobile app available from your device's mobile app store. It might also be helpful to temporarily change the time zone on your devices to Pacific time to see if that makes the app information and the web page information align with each other.

Finally, I understand that some maintenance was happening on the Disneyland Resort theme park reservation system recently. While I'm not aware of the specific details of that maintenance activity, I'm hopeful that if there were known issues that might result in what you have experienced, they may have been resolved by now. So I'm wishing on a star that another check of your park reservations will show that dates are showing the same on both the mobile app and the website.

If you find that you need to make changes to your park reservation, that is a simple process. As long as a park reservation associated with a theme park ticket is unused, you can cancel or modify it at any time. Here are the steps to make changes to an existing park reservation:

    1. Open the latest version of the Disneyland mobile app.
    2. From the ☰ feature menu, open the Future Plans screen.
    3. Tap on a park reservation you wish to manage. That will open up a web browser pointed to the "My Theme Park Reservations" page.
    4. Use the “Modify Reservation” link for the reservation you wish to change.
    5. Verify the ticket or tickets you want to include in the reservation change.
    6. Proceed with selecting a new date and/or theme park from the available reservations and confirm your updated selection.

You can then return to the Future Plans screen of the mobile app or visit the My Plans page on the website to verify your reservation changes. You may also reach out to a Cast Member with the Tickets phone line or the online or in-app chat service to request help in verifying a park reservation. Cast Members at the main entrance ticket booths or a Guest Relations location may also be able to confirm your park reservation status.

Thanks for visiting us at planDisney, Mohammed. I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort!
