Why are the prices for meals going up for just the week of March 12 – March 19, 2011? What is happening that week to make everything more expensive? You all are SO very helpful!!!

    Hi Jennifer,

Disney does increase their prices during certain times of the year for many of the fixed price dining locations due to guest demand or high attendance times throughout the year as well as during the holidays (such as Thanksgiving, Easter, Christmas Day, etc...) you will see an increase in price at most of the Table Service Restaurants and Character Dining Locations.

The dates you are inquiring about is from March 12 and actually extends into April, where Disney has deemed this to be one of their periods for Seasonal Pricing (guest demand or high attendance period). Unfortunately, with March break from schools and Easter right around the corner after that, this is why travelling during these dates is considered their Peak times.  Sorry for the bad news, but hopefully you will still have a most magical trip!

    Best wishes,
