Why would you prefer the swan? just curious? really trying to decide on dolphin or swan...

Hi Farrah! I can understand this is a hard decision but what you need to know is that which ever you choose I don't think you will be disappointed. They both offer similar amenities and location so it might just come down to little details. I will share my thoughts why I guess I would choose the Swan!

The Swan is a smaller hotel with smaller lobby but I prefer more intimate then large and busy. The Dolphin is definitely the place to be for conventions and their convention facilities are amazing. If you are interested in spa services they have a great one at the Dolphin but it is just a short walk from the Swan too. Both resorts have fine dining with the Dolphin having the slight edge with Blue Zoo and Shula's but when I am at Disney I don't want to just eat in one resort all the time with so many great park and other resort restaurants available.

Unless there has been a recent refurbishment to the Dolphin here are some differences why I prefer the Swan.  I like their two queen beds over two double beds and LOVE the "Heavenly" beds at the Swan. The Dolphin had only one sink in their baths while the Swan had two. Both can offer high floor rooms where you can watch Illuminations from your window or balcony so views are offered from both.

They share a large pool facility for the family and each have more adult lap pools next to their perspective resorts.

I would stay in either but for me personally the edge goes to the Swan.
