Why is it that the plus dining plan for 12 isn't showing any participating sit down dining options? My family is going in March and we were told to go ahead and book as if the restaurants are participating in the dining package. But, when will this happen?

Hi Tiffany, The restaurants at WDW have until the end of this year to decide whether or not they will be participating in the Dining Plan for the following year. You may not see this information updated until the end of the year and it will be updated as soon as they know for sure, so what you were told is good advice. Go ahead and make your Dining reservations now (or within 180 days of your travel dates) as if the restaurants will be participating. If you notice that some of the restaurants you have booked will not be participating, you can always cancel the reservation, but at least you have secured a spot well in advance. Usually, most of the restaurants that participate now, will also participate again the following year. This is certainly not a guarantee, but you can normally count on the more popular dining experiences to still be included for next year. Have a wonderful trip in 2012! Best wishes, Brigitta
