Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for sending us this magical question! I absolutely love using the My Disney Experience mobile app, as it makes my visits to the Walt Disney World Resort that much easier. In fact, I don't think I could visit the parks without using it! Nothing beats the
Mobile Food & Beverage Order feature.
Now, let's talk about why your plans may not appear in your
My Disney Experience mobile app. First, if you received a confirmation number for your Resort reservation or theme park tickets, you could try and
link them to your account. To do so, click on the three-line menu and "Link to Account" at the bottom. Then, if you get the message that the reservations have already been linked, it may simply be that the mobile app is glitching or that you have a second account. To make sure your reservations are connected to the correct account, I suggest logging into your
My Disney Experience account on a computer, as I feel that my plans usually always show up on my desktop. However, if you are having issues with any of these steps, don't hesitate to reach out to a Disney Cast Member via
chat, email or phone.
If you have an iPhone, Apple Watch or Google Pay-enabled smartphone, there are a couple of other features you can use that are sure to make your trip more convenient. First, the
Direct-To-Room service allows you to simplify your arrival at your Resort by putting in your room preferences, time of arrival and preferred check-in time. In addition, the
online check-in service allows you to check into your Resort hotel room without standing in line at the Front Desk! You can even unlock your door with your phone, which is especially useful if you are like me and always forget your card in your room. Similarly, if you forget your MagicBand or theme park ticket in the room, you can use the
Disney MagicMobile Service in the three-line menu. This service downloads your theme park ticket into your digital wallet so that you can simply use your smartphone to tap enter the theme parks. I use both of these features on all of my Disney trips, and they make travelling so much easier!
