Hi there, Dale!
Oh my garland! Your jolly holiday is almost here! Let's dive right into the details of your December adventure.
The time between Christmas and New Year's is one of the most popular weeks of the year to visit
Walt Disney World. The theme parks and resorts will be bustling with holiday travelers. I checked the
theme park reservation calendar, and as of this writing, reservations are still available for Guests with non-date-based tickets at all parks except
Magic Kingdom Park on December 28th and 29th. Remember, if you have date-based tickets, you no longer need to, nor will you even be able to make
theme park reservations. If you have date-based tickets, this could be why you cannot secure reservations.
Are you an
Annual Passholder? Only the Disney Incredi-Pass can be used at the end of December. All other pass types are blocked during the final week of the year. I have a Disney Sorcerer Pass, and I would not be able to use my pass for your dates. If you have a Disney Pixie Dust Pass, Disney Pirate Pass, or Disney Sorceror Pass, your pass is blocked on December 28th and 29th.
Dale, if you have tickets that require theme park reservations or a Disney Incredi-Pass, you should be able to make reservations for December 28th and 29th. Please try one more time, and if you're still having trouble, I recommend
calling the My Disney Experience or
Annual Passholder helpline to see if a friendly Cast Member can assist you further.
I hope this is helpful, Dale. Best wishes for a wonderful holiday visit. Thanks for stopping by planDisney, and we'll see ya real soon!
