    Scott from WA Asked

why is park hopper offered if one can only go to 1 park per day?

Welcome to planDisney, Scott! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question today about theme park tickets, which are one of the most important parts of planning your vacation. Your admission will be your ticket to the magic, so let's chat about what exactly is available right now and what might be possible coming up in the future!

Right now through the end of 2020, the only type of admission available for sale will grant you entrance to one theme park each day. For arrival dates beginning in 2021, Guests are able to purchase tickets with the Park Hopper Option even though Park Hopping is not something that's happening at the moment. Although we can only spend the day at one theme park at this time, I know that personally I'm hopeful that Park Hopping will return in the future. If you're planning a trip for 2021, you do have a few options available! You can purchase tickets with the Park Hopper option in hopes that it will become possible again in the time before your vacation, or you can purchase tickets with admission to one theme park per day and upgrade if circumstances change. Even though admission options are a little bit limited right now compared to what is typically available, there is still a lot of flexibility there for you to get exactly what you need for your trip!

Scott, I also want to encourage you to bookmark and keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog. It has been the number one source for official breaking Disney Parks news concerning the phased reopening process and it will also likely be the first place we'll hear about any big announcements, like a possible return to Park Hopping.

    Have a magical day, Scott!
