why once the mickey christmas party starts do they have a 10 day break from nov 15-25 ? it starts nov 9th so we planned on going down sunday the 18th - wed 21 hoping to go to party but that is the only time there is a long break. something else going on?

    Hi Kristen!!

I do apologize that you will not be able to enjoy Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on your Walt Disney World Vacation in just a few short weeks.

The reason that there are no parties available for the time you are there is because it is Thanksgiving Week.  Thanksgiving is one of the more crowded seasons of the year, thus, the Magic Kingdom will stay open later for all guests to accommodate the crowds.  The same thing happens in December.  The last parties offered in December are the weekend before Christmas.

I hope this helps and that you have a magical trip!!
