Hello, Jane,
Thank you for sending your question to planDisney. I'm so happy to share with you some
great updates for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders that may explain why the
Theme Park Reservations were not available at the time you were looking at them. During the next few months, Walt Disney World will begin allowing guests who are Annual Passholders the chance to visit the theme parks after 2:00 pm
without a theme park reservation. However, theme park reservations will still be necessary at the Magic Kingdom on Saturday and Sunday. Please note that blackout dates will still be happening. Also as Annual Passholders, you will receive access to
Disney PhotoPass Lenses as well as one complimentary
Cinderella Castle Mural of Memories experience.
In addition to the Annual Passholder updates, it was shared that
Happily Ever After is returning to the Magic Kingdom on April 3, 2023, and the nighttime show at EPCOT will be changing later this year. The magic continues with
TRON Lightcycle / Run opening on April 4, 2023, with Annual Passholder and Disney Vacation Club previews happening prior to this. So keep your eye out for future emails for Passholders that further explain the change in the Theme Park Reservations and share details about the previews for TRON Lightcycle / Run.
Please let us know if you have any further questions. - Kara
