Hello, Julie! Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for returning to us with another question. I'd be happy to help!
I'm sorry that you were not able to use the link in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to prepay gratuities. I understand why you'd want to do so! Did you happen to use a travel agent to book your cruise reservation? If so, your travel agent would need to be the one to sort this out. If you didn't use a travel agent, you may not be able to prepay your gratuities through the app or website because you have already paid your reservation in full. If your cruise fare is paid in full, you may
reach out to Disney Cruise Line with a phone call or via the online chat tool to prepay your gratuities. As a friendly reminder, this must be done at least three days before your Disney Cruise sets sail.
It looks as though you are set to embark soon on your incredible adventure at sea! I can't wait for you to be welcomed aboard. If you were unable to prepay for your gratuities, they will be added to your onboard account. You can stop by the Guest Services desk at any time during your sailing to make adjustments to the gratuity amount. It's likely that you'll experience exceptional service onboard, and adding additional gratuity is a great way to recognize Crew Members for their stellar service!
Did you know that you can use a
Disney Gift Card to pay for anything onboard? This includes gratuities! You can look at the
recommended gratuity amounts, purchase a Disney Gift Card before you set sail, and then stop by the Guest Services desk once onboard to apply your Disney Gift Card to your onboard account balance. I save Disney Gift Cards all year long to use when I cruise!
Have a magical time aboard Disney Cruise Line! Bon Voyage!
