Why is there no "Frozen ever after, dessert party" scheduled for the first week in January 2018?

Hello Mike! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My family's next Walt Disney World Resort vacation is scheduled for the first week of January 2018 to coincide with the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend. Combined with the holiday season, this makes Walt Disney World Resort especially busy during this peak season.

I was hoping to book reservations for the Star Wars Guided Tour at Disney's Hollywood Studios Theme Park for that time, but like the Frozen Ever After Dessert Party at Epcot World Showcase, there is currently no opportunity to book reservations for that week.

While the Frozen Ever After Dessert Party at Epcot World Showcase picks up again on January 8 (at least until the end of January) after the holiday season and Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend conclude, the Star Wars Guided Tour is not yet releasing any dates beyond 2017.

With Events and Tours offered at Walt Disney World Resort, schedules are subject to change and cancellation without notice for multiple reasons. With so much going on during the first week of January 2018, I believe that the Frozen Ever After Dessert Party at Epcot World Showcase had to make way for other offerings (if only for that week).

Stay posted on the Frozen Ever After Dessert Party at Epcot World Showcase site for any potential additions or changes to the schedule. If schedules change and it is added, you will want to be quick to obtain your reservations.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
