Why is there no Celebration at the Top reservation availability in October or November?

    Hiya, Lisa!

Welcome back to planDisney, friend! The Celebration at the Top: 50th Flavors & Fireworks at Disney Contemporary Resort is a truly memorable experience that is also at the top of my Walt Disney World Resort bucket list. The outstanding small bites, beverages, and incredible views have made this event very popular with Guests. Currently, reservations for this experience can traditionally be made up to 60 days in advance, so if you are looking for later dates in November, the booking window may not be open just yet. Should you be booking within that 60-day time frame I do have a few notes and tips to share.

This Enchanting Extra is offered on limited days, which could mean there are no offerings during your travel time frames. It has also been my personal experience that dates are not always released at that 60-day mark. There have been a few experiences from the Enchanting Extras Collection that I could not book until closer to 45 days prior. While this may not be the case for this event, here is my advice for checking if dates have been released. When you click the Check Availability option on the booking page it will show a calendar on the next page. The dates that are highlighted in blue are dates the experience is being offered. This doesn't mean the date has availability, but it is a great way to see if the booking window is open. Currently, there are no blue dates for October or November which could mean the booking window has not opened just yet, or this experience may not be offered during those timeframes. There have been a few dessert parties that I have attended that have no blue dates until much closer to arrival. My pro tip for this situation is to continue to check back often (daily if possible) until you see blue dates. It is a possibility that there may be no offerings, but if a booking window opens this will be the best way to see it!

Another option is to reach out to a friendly Cast Member by phone at (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463 to inquire about reservation availability during your visit. They may be able to offer dates for booking window openings for this experience.

Should you find you are unable to book this Enchanting Extra, dinner at California Grill would still be an outstanding experience for your travel party. There is currently a 50th Anniversary Celebration Menu that offers a wide variety of delicious dishes that are sure to delight any palate. This is one of my favorite places to dine at Walt Disney World Resort! You will find both the food and views to be memorable. And here's the best news! You can watch the evening fireworks from the terrace of this location, even if you have an earlier reservation. Just return to the host stand before the start time to head up for spectacular and unique views!

I hope your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
    We'll see ya real soon!
