Hi Taylor and welcome to planDisney!
February is a great time to visit Walt Disney World! The
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is in full swing, which brings in a lot of Guests from around the world. My kids love the
Paint by Numbers Mural where they get to be a part of creating art at EPCOT. It's always fun to taste our way around the world with all of the delicious options at the
Food Studios.
I don't have access to a complete set of events that happen at Walt Disney World throughout the year, but my first instinct was to check if there are any cheer competitions going on in February. My daughter has been involved with cheer for a couple of years now, so I am getting familiar with how competitions work. According to the
ESPN Wide World of Sports events schedule, there is a dance competition and a cheer competition on the weekends before and after your arrival date. Usually, these competitions block rooms at the
Walt Disney World Value Resorts for the athletes, so that is mostly likely why you are currently seeing zero availability. Also in my cheer experience, more rooms are blocked than needed, so it is possible that availability at these Resort hotels will open up when we get closer to the dates. My suggestion would be to book a
Moderate Resort hotel as I do see availability at some of them, and then keep checking back for availability at a Value Resort to see if you can switch at a later point.
Please
stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
