    why do I need a credit card if I have the dining plan

    Hello and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    What a great question and one that I am sure many guests have asked themselves.  The dining plan is a must with every Walt Disney World resort vacation.  There is no better way to keep your food budget in check.  The DDP requires that a credit card be used as a guarantee in case you do not make it to your dining destination and did not cancel in advance.  Of course, you will not be charged if you show.  Please make sure to read the cancellation policy with every dining reservation you set. 

    Diane's Tip of the Day:  If you are looking for some great dining outside of the Disney Parks, Disney Springs offers some unique dining experiences that you will love.
