Why is the Magic Kingdom closing at 4:30 pm on November 5, 2018?

Hello Linda, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. It seems like you are putting a few finishing touches on your schedule for your upcoming trip to the Walt Disney World Resort.

I checked with several Cast Members as to why the Magic Kingdom is closing early on November 5th, 2018. The only details they have is that a private event is booked for that evening. This event is not open or scheduled for a special ticketed event. Keep in mind that schedules are subject to change and we are still several months away. I would suggest checking the park hours calendar for any last minute updates, should there be any.

However, the other Disney Theme Parks will remain open during their regular park hours. If you have the Park Hopper Option with your admission tickets, you can easily enjoy the rest of your evening at another park. Don’t forget that you can also enjoy an evening of food, fun and shopping at Disney Springs too. Good luck with your planning and if you have any more questions, please come back and visit us again.

    See ya real soon,
