Why is it when I look at prices for 4 people in one room at Riverside it’s cheaper then booking 2 rooms with only 2 people in each room, same amount of tickets and same amount of time?

Hello, Heather and welcome to planDisney! I love chatting with a fellow resident of the Keystone about the Most Magical Place on Earth.

With its laid-back Louisiana vibe and perfect walking paths, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort- Riverside is one of my family’s favorite properties. I hope you love it! Now, let’s talk about the price differential you’ve seen when booking one versus two rooms. While you are correct that the number of people and number of tickets is the same, the price also takes into account the overall amount of space. The price of two hotel rooms reflects two bathrooms, more space to spread out and a total of four beds in comparison to one hotel room that would provide one bathroom and a total of two beds.

I hope this helps as you’re considering your best course of action for your upcoming trip. As you continue to plan I encourage you to check out the Disney Parks Blog where you’ll find Magical announcements about things like the return of fireworks and plans for Disney’s 50th anniversary celebrations! If you have any additional questions, please be sure to come on back to planDisney.

Wishing you a pixie dusted stay,
    Lauren
