Hey There, Kenneth!
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney, where we're always happy to help with all the ins and outs of planning a Disney vacation. There are
so many exciting things happening at Disneyland Resort right now –– how cool that you'll be heading out west to experience it all this fall! I'm sorry that you're having trouble with the Disneyland website, but I'm happy to offer a few suggestions to help you troubleshoot the issue and prepare for your upcoming visit to
The Happiest Place on Earth.
While it was possible to link your
Disney Vacation Club Membership to the My Disneyland section of the Disneyland website in the past, this feature is currently unavailable. I'm not sure if this is a temporary change or if this option will be available again down the road, so you may want to keep checking back as your visit approaches to see if you can link your account before you arrive. The good news, though, is that you should be able to link your Disney Vacation Club reservations to your My Disneyland account. If you'll be using Vacation Points for a stay at
The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, simply click on
"My Hotel Reservations" from the My Disneyland drop-down menu and follow the onscreen prompts to link your reservation.
Since I'm sure you'll also want to take advantage of all your Member Benefits during your stay, like
dining and shopping discounts throughout Disneyland Resort, be sure to download your
new Disney Vacation Club Digital Membership Card before you arrive. The digital card will replace your physical Membership card (those legendary "Blue Cards") which expired at the end of 2021 and will be saved right in the digital wallet of your smartphone. To download your card, all you need to do is open up the
My Disney Experience mobile app (the app you use for Walt Disney World Resort) and create a new
Disney MagicMobile pass. To do this, tap the three lines in the bottom-right corner of the screen and select "Disney MagicMobile" from the menu. From there, just follow the onscreen prompts to create your new pass. Not only will this act as your DVC Membership Card, but when you visit Walt Disney World, it will also give you access to your theme park admission and any other entitlements that are linked to your account. With everything you need right at your fingertips, I like to think of it as your very own Membership magic wand!
I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney, Kenneth. I hope this helped to answer your question, but if you think of anything new as your visit to Disneyland Resort approaches, please don't hesitate to visit us again!
Happy Planning,
Amy
