Hi Vera, welcome to planDisney!
Your grandson is a lucky boy. Not only does he get to visit Walt Disney World Resort with his loving grandmother, but he gets to do so in just three days! You're both probably too excited to sleep, so let me recommend watching or listening to
the latest planDisney podcast, which is all about visiting Walt Disney World Resort with little ones. My panelist pals Nimmy and Lauren do an excellent job covering must-dos in all four theme parks, as well as some top tips about transportation, resort stays, and strollers.
Thank you for clearly explaining what you see in your
My Disney Experience account. During the vacation planning process, it appears that multiple My Disney Experience account profiles were made for your grandson. You see different personal information listed for him because it was entered differently for each profile. Cast Member assistance is required to merge the two profiles into one. Since you're so close to your trip, you can either call and speak to someone at the
My Disney Experience, MagicBand, and MagicBand+ number or you can stop by
Guest Relations after you arrive. Children under the age of 13 must have their My Disney Experience account profiles managed by another account. Be prepared to share which adult will officially manage your grandson's vacation plans. The other adults in your party can view and make plans for your grandson as long as you are connected as
Family & Friends.
Duplicate My Disney Experience account profiles are actually quite a common occurrence. In fact, they happened to my family a few years ago. We knew something was wrong when my son's MagicBand was connected to some but not all of his vacation entitlements. A friendly Cast Member at Guest Services diagnosed the problem and had us back making magic in no time. Merging your grandson's My Disney Experience account profiles into one will help streamline the planning process for this and all future trips.
I hope you have your best days ever making memories with your grandson, Vera. Remember that growing old is mandatory but growing up is optional.
Plan magic; planDisney.
