Why should i go Disney World?

    Susan:

You could probably ask this question to any member of the Panel and get a different answer!  For my family, we've found it not only to be a good value, but also a destination that has helped us create wonderful memories AND traditions.

In today's economic climate, you really can plan a Disney vacation that's not only affordable, but also cheaper than a trip to the beach, a cruise or a ski trip.  With well-themed hotels that rival most hotel chains in price and beat them for cleanliness, our family can usually find one that fits our budget and our expectations.  Best of all, if you find yourself on a limited budget, you can purchase a Disney vacation package that includes your hotel, park tickets, and dining, and feel confident you won't find hidden charges once you arrive!

Dining runs the spectrum for budgets, too, from hand-tossed pizza slices on the Boardwalk to romantic signature dining experiences.  And for family entertainment, I don't have to research to make sure it suits my values.  Again, the variety runs from free activities like Chip 'n' Dale's campfire singalong at Fort Wilderness and magicians on the Boardwalk to water parks that are world-renowned!  And we haven't even hit the theme parks!

What I can't describe in words, though, is how relaxed my husband becomes as we drive through the Magic Kingdom gates, how my son lighted up when cast members saw his birthday button and broke out in song, how my daughter looks forward to riding Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, and for me, I firmly believe that Disney may be one of the last places on earth for good old-fashioned customer service.

I could go on, but I recommend that if I didn't offer something to tickle your fancy and spend more time exploring our Moms Panel website, that you visit one of the bio pages of my fellow Disney moms and feel free to ask them the same question!

Hope you'll visit and experience what I've shared for yourself!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
