    Why does the Ghiradelli in Disney Springs not do the pins with ice cream? Also do the cast members have special pins you can to see like limited editions or do they all wear them on their lanyards and hips? Thank You

    Hello Megan.  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  

    My daughter and I are big fans of pin trading.  We got into it a couple of years ago and it's such a fun part of our vacations now.  Ghiradelli is an independently owned company at Disney Springs.  Only Disney employees wear lanyards for pin trading.  What the Cast Member has on their lanyard or hip bag is what they have available to trade.  Some Cast Members do have knowledge of the pins though and may be able to point out a more valuable pin if you ask.  My daughter was sick on vacation a few years ago and the Cast Members were doing everything they could to make her feel better.  During this, she pin traded with a sweet gentleman and the one she picked was rare.  He made sure to inform her of this and told her if she wanted to trade it, to make sure it was for something equally as special.  I'm sure that it's not always the case, but it never hurts to ask.
