    why do I have to enter my credit card number to make a table reservation at Chef Mickey's if I have already paid my hotel reservation, dining plan included?

    Hello Carol!  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. 

    A credit card number is required to make all table service dining reservations.  The card card is just a guarantee of your reservation.  Your credit card wont be charged unless you fail to show up for you dining reservation.  If you are a no show, your card can  be charged $10.00 per person on the reservation.  If you do need to cancel a dining reservation, be sure to do it at least 24 hours in advance to ensure you wont be charged a no show fee.

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
