    why would DVC member buy into more then ONE home resort? Our home resort is BLT!

    Hi Denise,

    My one and only home resort is Animal Kingdom Lodge, but I have friends who own at more than one resort.  The biggest benefit is being able to book at different locations 11 months in advance.  For example, say a family can only vacation during spring break and its imperative that they book their room 11 months in advance.  If they own at two different resort they can alternate between the resorts each year.  One very convenient feature of the Disney Vacation Club is that you can bank points forward one year and borrow points from the next year. 

    If your schedule allows you to travel during non-peak periods you can usually stay at resorts other than your home resort, but you are only allowed to book the resort 7 months in advance.
