Why did Disney remove the “days left until your trip” countdown from My Disney Experience online?

    Hi Suzanne,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

When planning a Walt Disney World vacation, I always find it helpful to have a reminder to count down the days until arrival, especially for planning dining reservations and FastPass+ selections. The good news is that you can still see your countdown with the newly redesigned My Disney Experience website. If you select the "My Plans" menu option under the "My Disney Experience" menu, you should see a page that displays something similar to "Suzanne's Plans and Tickets." You should also see your plans grouped into five major categories, each highlighted in a blue circle icon — "Family & Friends," "Resort Hotel," "Park Tickets," "Dining," and "FastPass+." Just below the "Resort Hotel" blue circle icon, a message will display that shows you your arrival countdown. For example, on my own "Jerry's Plans and Tickets" page, it shows "See you in 2 days!" under "Resort Hotel" because I happily have just two days to go before I arrive at Walt Disney World.

Suzanne, I hope this information is helpful as you make your Walt Disney World vacation plans. If you have any questions as you make your plans, please let us know here at Disney Parks Moms Panel and we'll be happy to help.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
