Why does Disney not have cruise schedules for all of 2025 out? Makes it difficult to plan

Ahoy and welcome to planDisney, Amy! It looks like you live with the same condition I do: Notripaphobia, Disney Cruise Line type. Not having a trip, and especially no Disney Cruise vacation booked, is a problem that needs to be fixed. While many of our friends have not yet even thought about Spring Break in a month, I have the White Rabbit in my head exclaiming, "I'm late! I'm late!" for 2025 vacation planning.

Since you are not alone in this, I have already checked with Disney Cruise Line to ask this same question. With the inaugural sailings of Disney Treasure and the new destination with Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, there is so much to look forward to in Summer 2025. I've been told the schedule beyond May 2025 will be announced in the next few months. I can't wait to shop through all the options and find that perfect itinerary for my family.

Last fall, Disney Cruise Line announced the opening of the early 2025 dates on its official Facebook page and Disney Parks Blog. I love the Blog. Did you know you can select "Destination" and get all the cruise stories in one place? There is even a page for all the Disney Treasure news, stories and excitement.

The announcements were made about a week before the cruises were open to book, giving time to see the destinations, ships and dates. The Disney Parks Blog Early 2025 Disney Cruise Destinations story detailed what was new in the schedules.

I know the only real treatment for Notripaphobia is having a trip on the calendar. I try to be patient, but like Alice in Wonderland, "I give myself very good advice, but I very seldom follow it.” So instead, I read the Disney Parks Blog and find there is so much I already love about Disney cruises, and so much new coming, the only thing I am waiting for is what dates to block my calendar and set my "Out of Office" notifications.

When you can go from dreaming to planning, please come back to planDisney with any other questions. We share your excitement in watching the countdown clock on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App and planning for the next milestone: selecting Onboard Activities and Port Adventures.

    Happy Planning!
    Jana
