Hello Johanna! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
The Norway Pavilion in Epcot's World Showcase has gone through some major changes over the last few years to incorporate all of the Endless Magic that Disney's popular animated feature Frozen has to offer.
In years past, my family frequently stopped into the Norway Pavilion to meet our favorite Disney Princesses at
the wonderful Akershus Royal Banquet Hall with Advanced Dining Reservations for Princess Storybook Dining. The theme, food and Disney Princess Character Meets combine to make Akershus Royal Banquet one of my family's favorite dining experiences in all of Walt Disney World Resort.
Despite the additions of entertainment and attractions like Meet Anna and Elsa at Royal Sommerhus and Frozen Ever After, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is as popular as ever, and Advanced Dining Reservations up to 180 days in advance are highly recommended. Since the Norway Pavilion at Epcot offers so many opportunities, it can sometimes get confusing for Guests to understand what their attraction Fastpasses or Dining Reservations include.
When "Selecting Times" for the Meet Anna and Elsa at Royal Sommerhus experience, your Fastpass+ allows you to
skip the standby lines (during a specific one hour period) when waiting to meet Arendelle royalty and enjoy your "warm hugs" as Olaf calls them without a lengthy wait. This is not a "reservation" for any other experience at the Norway Pavilion other than the meet and greet itself. Technically, it is not a reservation because you may show up at any time during your Fastpass+ window and you will be admitted to the Meet and Greet through the Fastpass+ line in lieu of the lengthier Standby queue.
Say "Hi" to Anna and Elsa for me!
