    Why has Disney discontinued evening magic hours on Fridays during August, I thought this was their busy time?

    Hi LouAnn!

        Typically the first two to three weeks of August are a busy time in Walt Disney World.  Disney often modifies and adjusts their park hours and schedule so just because there are no Extra Magic Hours on Fridays currently scheduled for August 2013 doesn't mean that they will not be added in the future.  I would recommend that you keep frequently checking the Disney Parks Website for updates to the park schedules.
