Why are dining reservations dates greyed out? Our package includes dining and I understood you could book reservations up to 180 days in advance which would be today, 4/18/17 for our 10/15/17 start date, but online shows only up to 10/13/17 to book.

Hello Deborah and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
One of my favourite things to plan are Advanced Dining Reservations for an upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort, I love that as Guests we can choose to eat pretty much any style of cuisine from so many exciting destinations from around the globe.
You are quite correct, Guests should indeed be able to secure Advanced Dining Reservations 180 days in advance of arriving at Walt Disney World Resort; so I am a little unsure as to why you weren't able to begin making yours on your 180th day.
On your behalf I've just checked via this Walt Disney World Resort - Dining link and currently I can see dates into mid October... I wonder if you are still experiencing difficulties in making those all important Advanced Dining Reservations then it may be worth speaking to a knowledgable Cast Member who will be glad to assist you further by dialling the number for Dining Reservations contained in this Walt Disney World Resort Phone Directory
If I can help sprinkle any extra pixie dust onto your upcoming October plans to visit Walt Disney World Resort please do pop back to ask me another question.
    Have a great Disney day.
