why is the dining plan not included in your last day at the park

    Hi Dennis,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks for sending us your question.

My family has always enjoyed using the Disney Dining Plan. It is a fantastic way save money on meals, particularly when planning to eat at several Disney Character Dining locations while on vacation.

The Disney Dining Plan is effective immediately after checking into your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. Your meal entitlements can be redeemed until 11:59 p.m. on the day you check-out, so you may certainly use any remaining credits on Disney property that last day of your visit. The Disney Dining Plan also includes 1 Rapid Fill Resort refillable drink mug per person which is valid for the length of your stay.

All unused meals, snacks and the ability to use your Rapid Fill Resort refillable mug ALL expire at 11:59 p.m. on your package reservation check-out date. However, if you go to the front desk to close out your account on the last day of your vacation, this action will most likely deactivate any remaining meal entitlements you may still have. So I recommend leaving your account open on the day you check out of the resort.

Did you know? The only Disney Character Dining location that will require the use of 2 Table-Service meal entitlements per person is the Fairytale Dining at Cinderella's Royal Table in Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park. You may use 2 Table-Service meal credits per person, or simply opt to pay out-of pocket.

Wishing you a most unforgettable vacation at the Walt Disney world Resort!
