Hello, Kelly, welcome to
planDisney!
Thank you for bringing your excellent question to planDisney, I apologize for the inconvenience and difficulties you have encountered using the
My Disney Experience App, it would be my pleasure to offer my assistance today. As a fellow Canadian Disney fan, I too, experience the odd glitch from our pesky little pal Stitch from time to time.
Kelly, I recently encountered some issues when attempting to navigate through the My Disney Experience App in preparation for my upcoming visit. In my case, it was related to two iPhone updates, one after the other. When that was all done, I had to offload and then re-install the My Disney Experience App which seemed to correct my issues. You might want to check for any updates if you haven't updated your phone already, and sometimes even turning the phone off and back on seems to do the trick.
When using my Disney account online, I double-check that I am using a
recommended browser that supports the official Disney websites, and then oddly enough, I’ve discovered that if I change the country filter from Canada to the United States, the sites run smoothly.
Kelly, you should be able to modify your
Disney Park Pass Reservations, after you have checked the current
Theme Park Reservation Availability for the new park(s) you wish to visit. To change theme park reservations via your Disney account online, please sign in and access the
Disney Park Pass System beneath the
My Disney Experience planning tab on the top right of the main page. From there, once you roll your cursor over
Park Tickets you should see the cancel/modification option. If changing your theme park reservations via the My Disney Experience App, please sign in and on the bottom center of the main screen, select the “+” option which will open a series of planning tiles. Look for the
Make or Modify Park Reservations tile to then select the blue
Make or Modify Park Reservations and hopefully carry forward with your revised itinerary.
Kelly, this
should be straightforward, and if the app is still not navigating properly, my best advice would be to contact
Walt Disney World Resort – My Disney Experience and MagicBands. Rest assured, the
extremely knowledgeable and helpful Cast Members work their special brand of Disney magic over there - trust me, I know from personal experience!
I hope this information is helpful, Kelly, so that you can move forward with the remainder of your plans and all the great fun, especially with the
50th Anniversary Celebration of Walt Disney World Resort and all the
EARidescent experiences that await your arrival.
Please stop by planDisney to ask me or anyone else for first-hand tips and advice, we are always here for you, Kelly, thank you so much!
