Why is the cutoff between kids meals and adult meals is 10?My son is 10 and he can't eat the adult portions that are served.Seems like a lot of wasted food.If there are 4 of us and only have ddp for 3, will we be allowed to share sit down meals?

    Hi Tracy,

Unfortunately, I don't have an answer on why the cut-off age is 10 years old (that is just what constitutes an adult in WDW), but if you are purchasing the Magic Your Way Package (includes various Park Ticket Options and your choice of WDW Resort room) and add the Dining Plan, then everyone in your party must be on the exact same plan.  You cannot have just 3 of you on the Dining Plan and not the 4th guest, so you must either all decide to purchase the Dining Plan or none of you.  I know this wasn't the answer you were hoping to get...sorry!

    Best wishes,
