Why do you have to use a credit card to make a restaurant reservation when we have the Dining Plus package already? Will my credit card be charged?

Hey Janelle and thanks so much for the question.  When making reservations at select dining locations, a credit card guarantee is required to hold your spot.  This is just a guarantee and your card will not be charged unless you are a no-show for your reservation.  This is in accordance with the Disney Dining Cancellation Policy.

Since some restaurants around the resort charge a fee for cancellations or no shows, be sure to notify Disney Dining of your cancellation either online or by calling (407) WDW-CNCL.  Also, please note that each restaurant maintains its own cancellation policy, so be sure to check at the time of booking.

    Best Wishes,
