Hello, Why does it cost so much for the Tinkerbell marathon? Is there some kind of a payment plan? Really want to run it but being a single mom it's gonna be hard. so I was just wondering

    Hi Terriesa!  I totally understand.

It is expensive to run races.  I don't have a way to find out the exact budget for Disney races, but I can tell you that the shirts, medals, race food/drinks, and especially the course entertainment is amazing.   There is so much fun and excitement before, during and after the race that I am sure it adds up to a huge amount of money, and therefore, the cost is somewhat passed along to the runners.  There really are no other races that even compare to Disney when it comes to the WOW!-factor.  Especially if you are a life-long lover of all things Disney, like me!

There aren't any payment plans for the race.  You will actually register through a website called Active.com that handles race entries for a large number of events.  You can pay with a credit or debit card.

I hope that this helps you, and I really hope that you are able to do the race.  If not in 2013, then maybe you can save a little each month and run the 2014 in celebration!

Please let me know if I can help in any other way.
