    why do they consider a 10 year old an "adult"? There is no way my soon-to-be 10 year old daughter could eat $42.99 worth of food on the basic dining plan in one day!

    Hi Pam, Yes, guests aged 10+ are considered as adults at WDW. You could always use 2 Table Service Credits for one of the select Dining Experiences such as Cinderella's Royal Table and then you could take it easy eating the day before this reservation. There is a lot of food made available to you on the Dining Plan, but it is just as much about the different experiences (Character Dining, Dinner Shows, etc..) that you are paying for and not just for the amount of food you will be getting.
