It sounds like you might be trying to make
advanced dining reservations. If so, I can say that I have also occasionally had glitches in the dining reservation system. If I am having trouble making reservations on the
My Disney Experience Mobile App, I switch to using
My Disney Experience on my laptop. If I cannot make the reservations on my laptop, I switch to the mobile app. I will say that there have been times when I have searched for dining availability and by the time I tried to make the reservation, that time was gone. As a matter of fact, that happened to me recently while trying to make reservations for
Space 220 Restaurant. When I searched, there were two lunch times available, but the mobile app would not allow me to make the reservation. Luckily, I switched to my laptop and was able to get one of those times. Availability can change at any minute. I have learned to keep searching. Cancelations do happen!
If you are referring to making a resort hotel reservation, availability could also change. If you are looking for a specific property, I suggest that you start your search by selecting only that resort hotel. If you continue to have difficulties, I suggest that you contact a
Cast Member in Website Support by phone. Each time I have called, they have provided wonderful assistance.
Looking at your arrival date, I do hope you are able to make advanced dining reservations. Even though we use
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering, having a few advanced dining reservations allows us to take a break and get re-energized. A few of our favorite dining experiences include
'Ohana,
California Grill, and
Cinderella's Royal Table.
