    Why can’t I purchase tickets online? It says date not available

    Hey there, hi there, Aaron! Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for stopping by with your ticket question.

    Oh boy! I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble purchasing a ticket online from the Disneyland website. If it is saying the date is unavailable, that is because currently the date you are wanting to visit is booked for theme park reservations and there are not any available for that day and ticket type. If reservations are available, the date will open back up. Currently, tickets and theme park reservations are required to enter the parks. The week you are wanting to visit looks to be a popular one as many are heading to the parks to celebrate school being out for the summer and many Magic Key pass holders are getting in a last visit before their passes are blocked for the summer.

    The good news is you still have a chance. The Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar is fluid and dates and parks can open up as Guests cancel and book their trips. I actually just saw dates open up within the last few minutes, so I suggest you keep checking back often. For future reference, you can book theme park reservations up to 120 days in advance.
