    Why can’t I purchase Genie+ in advance? It says it’s not compatible with my ticket type.

    Oh Boy! In a few short days, you will arrive at The World's Most Magical Celebration at Walt Disney World Resort. Keep your eyes open at the theme parks for the golden Disney Fab 50 Character Collection statues. They make killer selfie moments for lasting memories. Specialty-themed treats found in the 50th Anniversary Celebration Sips and Bites Guide can be located at both the theme parks and Disney Resorts Collection hotels.

    Hakuna Matata! Disney Genie+ Service will be available to purchase beginning after midnight on the day of your Theme Park Reservation. Open the My Disney Experience Mobile App and click on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right-hand corner. Select "My Genie Day" followed by "My Day." You next need to select "Get Disney Genie+ for Today" and again "Get Disney Genie+ Service." Follow the prompts and submit payment. I personally prefer the day-to-day purchase of Disney Genie+ Service as Lightning Lane selections are not available until 7:00 AM on the day of your park visit.

    Please note, if you are interested in purchasing Individual Lightning Lane selections for those most popular attractions, Disney Genie+ is not required. Disney Resorts Collection Guests, Guests of Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green® Guests can make purchases beginning at 7:00 AM. All other day guests can make Individual Lightning Lane purchases at park opening. You may purchase up to two Individual Lightning Lanes per day.
