    Why can’t I make a payment towards my reservation using a Disney gift card? Every time I try it tells me it couldn’t be processed.

    Oh my goodness, Katie, how excited are you to have booked a visit to Walt Disney World Resort? You are in for such a treat, with so many exciting attractions and restaurants to enjoy during your vacation! Speaking of treats, did you know that your visit lines up with the incredible EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival? It's a crowd favorite at Walt Disney World and, in my opinion, is an absolute must-do! I love strolling around World Showcase with a drink in my hand, grabbing bites to eat from the fabulous Global Marketplaces throughout the festival. You’ll find such incredible food here, inspired by cuisine from all over the globe. So, you definitely don’t want to skip the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival when you’re there this fall.

    I’m so sorry to hear you’re having a hard time making a payment for your vacation with your Disney Gift Card. So, let’s start from scratch and see if we can help! First, log into your My Disney Experience account from the Walt Disney World website. Then, hover over the My Disney Experience logo in the upper right corner, and select "My Plans" from the drop-down menu. Next, scroll down to the "My Plans, Reservations, and Tickets" section, and you should see a blue link that reads "Make a Payment." Click on the link and follow the prompts to make your payment with your Disney Gift Card, and you are all set!

    Now, if that still does not seem to do the trick, it’s likely time to get some help from the fabulous Cast Members on the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations team. You can give them a call at (407) 939-1936, and they will be happy to take your payment over the phone. Just think of them as your very own fairy godparents!

    Katie, if you decide to stop by EPCOT for the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, be sure to check out one of my new favorite attractions, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, while you’re there. On this fantastic 4D ride, you'll scurry alongside Chef Remy through the hustle and bustle of Gusteau's restaurant kitchen. It's tremendous fun, so I definitely recommend checking it out!
