Oh boy! You’re in for a real treat as you enjoy the cool ways that your
MagicBand+ devices draw you into the storytelling of the Disneyland Resort. Ever since I got my first MagicBand 2 at the Walt Disney World Resort, I’ve been waiting for the magic to come to the Disneyland Resort too. And when it did come, it came plussed up!
It sounds like you are well on your way to having everything ready before you travel to
Walt Disney's Original Magic Kingdom. Since you have booked a
Disneyland Resort Vacation Package, you can enjoy the convenience of booking your
theme park reservations up to 120 days in advance. But some preparations will need to wait until your Travel ePackage is delivered electronically to your account four days before your arrival. The ePackage will also include your
Disney eTickets. Once your eTickets are loaded into your account, I suspect you will be able to finish the
steps to get your MagicBand+ devices linked to your theme park admission.
Tony’s Tip: If you have already used your MagicBand+ devices at the Walt Disney World Resort, you may have noticed that each band is permanently linked to a given Guest account or name. However, at the Disneyland Resort, a MagicBand+ is linked to a ticket or pass instead of to a Guest name. And that link can be removed and the band assigned to a different ticket. That way, if you happen to have members of your party that would like to take turns with different MagicBand+, you can do that at the Disneyland Resort!
