Hi Jessie,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!
Sorry to hear that downloading the
My Disney Experience mobile app has been unsuccessful so far, here are a few things you can do!
Since My Disney Experience is on the Google Play store, you should be able to download it. My best advice would be to make sure your phone is attached to a wireless connection when you download the app, sometimes this makes things go faster! Also, you’ll want to make sure that you have enough storage space on your phone. Sometimes if you don’t have enough space, your phone won’t let you download anything until more space is freed up. If you’re still having trouble, I suggest calling the
My Disney Experience and MagicBands help desk to see if they can walk you through the process as well!
In the meantime, most of the tasks you do on the mobile app, you can do in your My Disney Experience account online! Want to make
Disney Park Pass or
dining reservations? You can do that online! If you want to purchase
Theme Park tickets or add
Disney Genie+ Service, you can walk through those tasks online as well. I suggest using your My Disney Experience account online to do some of the bigger planning, then once a Cast Member helps you, all your information will be automatically downloaded to the My Disney Experience mobile app as soon as you sign in!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation in August.
If you have any other vacation or planning questions, please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
