Why can’t I book magic kingdom twice in one visit?

    Hey there, Amy!

Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! Each of us with the planDisney Panel loves sharing our Disney vacation tips and takeaways from our many Disney destination adventures. We're here for you and happy to help you.

It's exciting to see you have vacation plans in the making for Walt Disney World Resort. It's even more fun to see you're planning as much time as possible in The Most Magical Place on Earth! Magic Kingdom Park is my favorite Walt Disney World Resort theme park, and has been since my first visit in 1975. So I can certainly understand why you want to spend lots of time taking in the vibes of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy. In my family, when we get away to Walt Disney World Resort, we always spend a few days in Magic Kingdom Park.

Amy, I'm going to take a guess that you are using the convenient Disney Park Pass system to make your theme park reservations. It sounds like you want to make reservations for Magic Kingdom Park on multiple days during your vacation stay. And who wouldn't! I love the idea of taking in all there is to see and do in Magic Kingdom Park over multiple days. In fact, I always recommend spending more than one day to experience the park.

The good news I'll share is that you should be able to reserve Magic Kingdom Park twice during your Walt Disney World Resort visit, as you're looking to do, if you have valid theme park admission and if there is theme park availability the day you want to visit the park. So when Mickey tells you "See Ya Real Soon," you can say "You betcha, Pal!"

I don't know all the specifics of your vacation package, your vacation party, or the types of theme park admission for everyone in your group, and so I can't say for certain what's happening that is limiting you from reserving Magic Kingdom Park twice during your vacation. One thing to check is that you have valid theme park tickets for each of the days you're seeking to make a reservation. Another thing to check is the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to make sure the dates you want to reserve are available. If you find these issues aren't the culprit, then my best suggestion is to reach out to the Walt Disney World Resort Internet Help Desk team at (407) 939-7765. They can take a look with you at your My Disney Experience information to help you understand what might be happening.

Amy, I hope this information is helpful to you. Here's wishing you a wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation, with lots of extra fun in Magic Kingdom Park!.

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
