Thank you for sending your question to planDisney. I'm so happy to share with you that
2024 is already looking like it will be an amazing year for guests visiting Walt Disney World. If you are visiting on or after January 9, 2024, you will no longer need
Theme Park Reservations if you have date-based tickets (
standard tickets). In addition, guests will be able to make their
Genie+ and
Lightning Lane selections before their arrival. Further details on this change will be coming later this year.
The window to begin making reservations for 2024 opens up on May 31, 2023, so by the end of the month, you can begin daydreaming about staying at the
Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. With so much to do at this resort from
archery to
wagon rides to
evening campfire activities, it is tempting to make the resort a vacation by itself!
